About Us
Why This Site
This site is a vehicle through which we can share many of the practical ideas and resources we have collected or developed during our teaching careers
and more recently as counsellors and family therapists.
Location
We live in Cabarlah, a rural town 20 km north of Toowoomba in South East Queensland, Australia. Our Counselling and Family Therapy practice is located
in Toowoomba's CBD.
Family
We have three sons (Richard, Jared and Bradley), all in their twenties. Jared is profoundly deaf and has suffered from Asperger's Syndrome. Although it was
a challenge training Jared, we have learned, through hard experience, invaluable lessons in behaviour management and family functioning that we can now
share with others. The experience has been good for our character development ... we think! Richard has two children (Andrew and Adrienne) from a
previous marriage.
Professional Background
Richard: Richard is trained in teaching and counselling. He is also a qualified geologist, majoring in Palaeontology and Stratigraphy. For a
number of years he served on state and regional curriculum committees in NSW and was the first Infants and Primary Maths Counslutant in the Hunter
Region of NSW.
Diane: Diane is trained in teaching and counselling and is a dedicated mother. Diane sacrificed her teaching career to dedicate her life to rearing
three boys. Jared owes much to her dedication to his development, and that against overwhelming odds.

We take no credit of the resources and ideas presented on this site. There is only One source of all wisdom, and that is God. Give credit where credit is
due.
Christian Commitment
We are both committed Christians and have been very much involved in the churches we have attended.
Public Committment
We have dedicated ourselves to helping people who struggle with issues in their lives. In addition to our private counselling practice we run seminars and/
or workshops for the public, in schools and in churches. We have also responded to numerous requests to present at educational conferences. Seminar
topics include: relationships, pre-marriage, depression, managing behaviour, parenting, primary/elementary Maths, families, courtship and quit
smoking.
Onging Site Development
We have many practical ideas to get onto the site and we will be working overtime this year, 2006, to really expand the range and number of resources. We are committed to adding to the site on a weekly, sometimes daily basis. If we get enough financial support we will be able to spend much more time developing infosalad.info.
Financing the Site
We are making these resources available to everyone because there are many schools and homeschoolers who struggle financially. We only ask that you contribute to the site if you are honest and can afford it. Come to think of it, we will even let dishonest people subscribe if they can afford it. So if you are using the site on a regular basis we ask that you subscribe at an annual rate of $25AU for individuals and $195AU for institutions. If you can't affort to subscribe, or even if you can, please share this website with as many people as you can. Maybe you would like to provide a link to www.infosalad.info on your web site.
