| About Aussie Number Crunchers
Number Crunchers are a 'back to basics', 'next generation' teaching aid that provides a dynamic link between abstract and concrete number. They provide a tool for laying a better foundation in place value and other Math/s concepts. Over 70% of the Math/s syllabus can be addressed in a practical way because over 140 Math/s concepts can be enhanced by students using Number Crunchers. They are appropriate for all primary/elementary grades/years up to high school. Even some high school students who struggle with Math/s are reported to have said, "Oh! Now I can see what's going on."
Two Models
Currently there are two Aussie Number Cruncher models, the Original Number Cruncher and the MAB Number Cruncher (See diagrams below). A separate page is dedicated to each of the models.
